Changing the narrative
My wellness story started in 2002 when, having always been a yoyo dieter, I could not get my hand into my jeans pocket. I realised I needed help with my wellbeing, and it needed to be sustainable so I could be fit & well to keep up with my grandchildren.
I focused on eating better, took some supplements, drank tons of water, and started exercising. My energy and mood soared, my menopausal symptoms eased up, and I lost 15kg and kept it off – it was life-changing!"
The results have been outstanding!
At the age of 62 I qualified as a Kettlebell instructor and ran my own classes for 5 years until a hip replacement got in my way. During the rehab some unwanted weight appeared from who knows where – ha ha! So, I got back to my healthy habits which had lapsed slightly & started exercising again. I surprised myself with my workout intensity by including, kettlebells & battle ropes alongside free weights, cardio and walking.
Now, at 79 years young, my workouts haven’t changed. I still workout out 6 days a week and still include battle ropes! I have a metabolic age of 63, I’m in the best shape of my life and I’m passionate about helping others find balance and joy in their wellness journey.

What I learned along the way
